Christ University Chancellor Fr. Joseph C.C. conferred the Honorary Colonel Rank

Bengaluru: Fr. Joseph C.C., Vice-Chancellor of Christ (Deemed-to-be University), has been conferred with the Honorary Colonel Rank of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) in recognition of his contributions to education, youth development and service.

The honour acknowledges Fr. Joseph C.C.’s commitment to empowering young people through education and fostering values of discipline, leadership, service, and social responsibility.

As Vice-Chancellor of Christ (Deemed-to-be University), Fr. Joseph C.C. has been associated with initiatives aimed at the holistic development of students, with a strong emphasis on academic excellence, character formation and social responsibility.

The recognition by the NCC marks another significant honour for Fr. Joseph C.C., acknowledging his contribution to education and youth development and his commitment to nurturing responsible citizens and future leaders.

The honorary rank was conferred at a special ceremony in Bengaluru. The occasion also witnessed the release of the commemorative book “March On... A Journey of Excellence and Service,” which chronicles the journey of the NCC from its inception to the present day, highlighting its achievements and contribution to nation-building.
